FYSA Annual General Membership meeting info:
Congratulations to Carlos Goncalves, former ECU Coordinator of Player Developement won the FYSA girls coach of the year award at the AGM on August 9th. Thanks to Christy Moore for nominating him. In addition, Will Parchment of the 2207-8 ECU U18 Boys team won the Stone Scholarship for boys which is a Region III award that only comes to Florida every 12 years. Lastly our own John Weekley, Coach of the U12 Girls Green team, was voted in as the Region D Vice President. ECU was very well represented at the FYSA AGM. We are very proud of these gentlemen. Please congratulate our winners when you see them.

Congratulations to ECU's Cagney Valloch! Cagney signed with Mercer University in Georgia. Cagney is the Goalkeeper for the ECU U18 Girls and Niceville High School Lady Eagles. Congratulations to ECU's Jordan Stone and Sean Reynolds! Both of these U18 players signed to play soccer at UWF on February 12th in the Ft. Walton Beach High School media center. In attendance were fellow ECU and Ft. Walton Beach High School players, ECU and Ft. Walton Beach High School Coach Zack Keeler, parents and family members and FWBHS staff.




Congratulations to ECU's Veronica Wolfkeil who recently signed to play soccer with the University of Alabama.

Jeremy Crute, a six-year member of ECU (& Wave Futbol) Club -- U18 boys team -- has been offered an academic scholarship and a spot as one of the top players on the reserve team at Covenant College in the North Georgia Mountains. As Jeremy proves himself, we are hopeful he will be moved up to varsity. Covenant College (NAIA division) loves their soccer, and it should be a fun place to play. Congratulations Jeremy and we look forward to hearing about your soccer succes.
